I was in the metro waiting for Elodie. I thought taking a picture of this man would do a good image. I took this one just after people got it the train so I could peacefully do my job. I think I should switch to a wider lens, thing that I would do if I find a cheap used Canon 35mm, any idea where I can find one? Metro Télégraphe, Paris.

I was waiting for my train at Montparnasse's train station, he was waiting too and apparently he was angry, he was speaking to himself. Took two pictures of him, but only one was correctly focused. In fact I was a bit afraid and it was very cold. By the way I recently learned that it was forbidden to photograph someone in a train station, don't know if it's the case in every country.

Nice eye contact with the mad man in the background. Paris, France

A rainy day in Paris. For that picture I wanted to focus on the men's reflection in the water that's why they are a bit blur. Ho, and by the way, that day I forgot the change the settings of the camera, this is the reason why I'm at ISO3200 :)

A "metro, boulot, photo" shot which literally means "metro, work, photo". It is the derivative of the famous French rhyme "Metro, Boulot, Dodo" which means "Metro, Work, Sleep", symbolizing routine of Parisian life. You may notice some reflexions because I was behind a glass. It was difficult to focus on the subject in this condition, and it was for me a way to test the 5d's autofocus. If you're enough curious you may see the shape of my arm in the glass. By the way that man was concentrated in writing a text message. Le Stade station, Colombes, France

I was walking out of the Saint Lazare's train station after work and here was a pretty sunset, I wanted to capture it. At this moment that guy asked me for a photo. I took several frames of him and his sleepy dog, showed him the photos I took, he was happy I think. He also wanted to showed me a photo of him several years ago, a young and happy man. He was a bit drunk and he couldn't talk intelligibly, I had no money on me that day, not even a coin to give him. The day after he was gone Saint Lazare train station, Paris, France

The shutter sound of the D700 is becoming more and more problematic as I intend to improve my street photography. If you have an idea don't hesitate to drop me a message. Metro, Paris, France

Yesterday was the Nuit Blanche 2009 in Paris, an annual all-night arts festival. Paris, France.

A man speaking in his sleep. Boulogne-Bilancourt, Paris, France.

I wish I had an other lens to take close portraits like this one. A 28mm f/1,4 with a more silent shutter on a D700 would be perfect for metro shots. For the little story, this man was smoking and he didn't care me taking his portrait but I know that one of these days someone will punch me. Metro, Paris, France

Long checking the last poker-istic news before sleeping in my temporary flat. The D700 is always surprising me with low lights! Late in the night, Paris, France

A man in the Budapest Metro at Batthyány tér which means Batthyány Square. It is located on the Buda side of the Danube river directly opposite the Hungarian Parliament Building.

I'll give a little tip that I use sometimes when I want to shoot candid portraits in the street / underground with a 50mm. Put the camera around your neck and up to your chest. Target your subject and try to frame and shoot, by this way the person will not mind you're shooting him. It will be a little hard to have a good picture the firsts times but with a little help you'll be able to take amazing candid portrait. Macclesfield Street (Chinatown), London

I tried to have the three men on the picture, they were waiting on the line to be the firsts in the train. It's funny to see how people try to avoid you and your look in the metro, it's easy then to take a picture. One day I took a photo of an homeless, he saw me and I felt uncomfortable because he seemed to be pissed off. Metro, Paris, France.

I saw this man walking in the street under a killing sun, it broke my heart to see this little peace of man in pain. I hesitated and asked him if he needed some help, he looked at me with a the beautiful smile of a wise man. I help him to open his door. That was my good action of the day. It's your turn. "C'est l'histoire d'un mec qui tombe d'un immeuble de cinquante étages au fur età mesure de sa chute il se répète sans cesse pour se rassurer: jusqu'ici tout va bien, jusqu'ici tout va bien, jusqu'ici tout va bien... mais l'important, c'est pas la chute, c'est l'atterrissage." (La Haine)

I met Louis last summer when I was hired as cleaner (again) , an eternal child who does not like to be photographed. He said to me with a big smile "I'm too handsome for you and your camera" , and I'm sure he's right. Tours, France.

In France, there is an expression : "Un temps pour tout" which mean "A time for everything". It's time for me to leave(no connection but I've always my camera.) So I wont be here everyday to share with you, but once a week maybe you'll see something coming from me... Tours, France.
